On which oracle version baan 4c4 can be installed?

According to my idea baan 4c4 has to be installed on oracle 7.3.
Is it correct? By any chance is it possible to install it on oracle 8 / 9 versions.

Your suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Baan: n/a - DB: n/a - OS: AIX, HP-UX, Linux
I think you should read some of the posts here on the board. Oracle8 has been supported for a good while and Oracle9 is coming along. No point in going for the de-supported Oracle7.

Baan: BaanIVc4 - DB: Oracle 8.1.7.4 - OS: Solaris 8

Usually your Baan contractor provides the list of OSs, platforms, RDBMSs, portingsets,BW client versions etc. concerning which he guarantees the stable work of your system.
Oracle 8 is a good variant , we use 8.1.7.4 and it works normally.
