Chosen based upon ability for teamwork with entire organization and experience as industrial engineer, plant superintendent, quality manager, administrative manager, and controller. Participated in training in manufacturing (MRP, ShopFloor, Cost Accounting) and distribution (Sales, Purchasing) for office and factory employees. Worked in the Finance module---wip audit trails. Helped develop process flow models. Worked with four sites to coordinate post-implementation opportunities and patches with Baan support and Baan World Users. Have coordinated efforts of two outside consultants for report customization and consolidation of sales and finance reports for Cytec.

09/77-04/94

Plant controller for Champion International/Stone Container Corporation in Fort Smith, Arkansas and Grand Prairie, Texas. Maintained a totally decentralized accounting system including all cost estimating, three bank accounts, workman’s comp accruals, and managed $30 million annual sales receivables with $50,000 credit authority for new accounts. On-site MIS management of hardware and software . Installed first bar-code program in the company (Stone Corrugated) and used for shipping, loading and physical inventory. Worked closely with US Data using FoxPro and Clipper. Converted office to personal computers for all reporting and analysis. Utilized HP-9000 and Cognos software to develop check-writing and customer statements. Worked with this one company (since graduation from college) as plant industrial engineer, plant superintendent, administrative manager, and a short-time as a quality manager before being controller.
