Question Permission problem?

Did you run the update with the necessary permissions? I remember we had the same problem which was caused by trying to install solutions using an user account without the required permissions.

Question Table

I'm not really sure if it will be enough by modifying the table. I hope you're doing this not on your productive system/server otherwise check the table tpmc203 (of course company 0). There you'll find the installation status. Maybe it will be also necessary to check the table tppmc260 where the solution history is saved...

It's better first to investigate why a restart of the installation does not work. In $BSE/log there are some files that can help you, e.g. log.error, log.oiex1288, and maybe also log.bshell.
PMC automatically detects that there is a solution in 'installing' status and will force you to finish that installation before you can install another solution.
