I say contact the support center and ask what all you need to do to move to new hardware. You can also request the latest documentation. Also you can read the wiki attached to the board, then just search the board for topics of interest.

Baan4c

Hi,

You can installed Baan4c4 on Hp unix, but you need to have the latest patches released by HP and preferred is HP-UX11.11i. You need to have the latest Baan4cX CD for installation on Unix or Linux, you can procure the same from Baan Sales team in you location, please visit http://infor.com and search for your location office. for more inputs you can also visit http://onepoint.infor.com (Support site) and get more information on Baan4cX

Kris.

Hi,

You can use Baan4c4 on windows and Linux also, where as for Unix and Linux Infor will be prioviding a seperate Installation Master CD, for Windows its a seperate CD. When you install on Unix and Windows you can just generate teh RSC (Request system configuration) and request for new license, where as you need to add a commercial funtion for linux to support the porting set,
please check the solution for commercial function for porting set in linux in Infor support site.

Kris.
