Red face Development license for LN 10.7
Baan: Infor ERP 10.7
DB: SQL Server 2016
OS: Windows 2016
C/S: Server

Hi,

Currently we are on ERPLN FP2 and we have development license (product id 10146).

We have setup a LN 10.7 test environment. I just wanted to know if we migrate to LN 10.7, we will be able to utilize Development licence in LN 10.7? Also there are two approaches of development:

Development using LN Studio
Using Classic Tools functionality

Do we need a separate license for using LN Studio or there is a separate product id required for this?

Please guide.

Vishal

hi,

as far as I know, the correct license is a server license named SSA ERP LN Application Source product id 7026 --for LN 10.5/10.6/10.7

With regards LN Studio:

To use LN Studio for customizations, such as changing reports and forms, you do not need an additional license. However, if you want to use LN Studio for development activities, such as creating new tables, editing UI scripts, functions, or libraries, you need a development license, and if necessary
source codes.

I can send you the LN Studio manual via email if you wish.

regards,
